The laboratory is structured as a pedagogical apparatus, not an event.”From The Earth To The Heart” does not describe a theme. It names a methodology. The earth functions as archive: material, geological, cultural. The heart functions as site of registration: affective, ethical, political.The workshop rejects the master-student hierarchy. It operates as a horizontal field of production where knowledge is not transmitted but excavated. Clay, pigment, myth, and gesture are treated as primary texts. The body is positioned as the first instrument of research.Participants do not learn techniques. They unlearn the separation between making and thinking, between anthropology and art, between the local and the archaic. The Mediterranean is engaged not as geography but as stratigraphy: layers of trade, conflict, fertility, and ruin.The laboratory produces no objects for exhibition. It produces a condition. A shift in the grammar of practice. What is carried from the earth to the heart is not a skill. It is a method for inhabiting contradiction.The question is not “what is taught?” The question is: what epistemic structures are dismantled when earth becomes curriculum
