WORKSHOP The BA second international biennale for the artist’s book
The project is positioned within the institutional effort to activate environmental awareness, not to disseminate information. The format is structured as a scientific discussion, not a lecture. University students are positioned as interlocutors, not recipients. The objective is not the transfer of ecological data, but the construction of a discursive field where environmental crisis becomes a framework for thought. The Bibliotheca Alexandrina operates here as a civic apparatus. The library is activated as a forum where knowledge production intersects with ecological urgency. Science is not presented as conclusion, but as method of inquiry. The discussion rejects didacticism. It proposes environmental awareness as a structural condition of contemporary citizenship. Ecology is treated not as content to be learned, but as a grammar through which the future is articulated. The workshop produces no solutions. It produces a shift in the architecture of questioning
