The project initiates a deliberate sabotage of its own title.The assumption that every image contains a story is suspended here. Narrative operates as a colonial technology. It imposes origin, progression, closure. It extracts causality from fields of simultaneity.The works are not fragments of a withheld story. They are active refusals of story formation. Each piece functions as a sentence without a subject, a verb without tense. The research occurs in the interval between frames – the gutter, the blank page, the caesura.Art is often positioned as language. Here, it is practiced as stuttering. A glitch in the grammar of representation.Characters appear without knowledge of plot. Events occur out of sequence. The viewer is assigned the role of detective for a crime without an incident.Narrative is the violence of coherence. The work proposes a truce with incoherence. It isolates the moment when plot dissolves and only affect persists. What is encountered is not an event. It is the un-narratable residue.
