The project addresses a sensory impossibility.Light is assigned to the visual. Scent is assigned to the olfactory. The title proposes a category error. The work operates inside that error.Illumination is not treated as metaphor for knowledge. It is examined as material residue. Every beam carries dust, heat, the memory of combustion. The scent of light is the scent of things burning to become visible.The research is conducted in the threshold between dawn and exposure. The moment when darkness exhales and light inhales the room. The palette is built from ash, gold, and the blue of shadows at noon.This is not synesthesia. It is archaeology. The excavation of how one sense colonizes another. How the eye learns to smell. How the nose learns to see.The work does not represent light. It documents the violence of appearance. What must be destroyed for something to be seen? The answer lingers in the air after the image is gone
