The project positions the suburban street as a site where ritual and habit become indistinguishable.Human and animal co-presence operates as an index of the environment. The forms of moral slaughter and quotidian passage are not juxtaposed; they are coextensive. The door of an old building functions as threshold where sacrificial form permeates daily choreography.The work employs film not to document ritual, but to diagram its embedding in the social fabric. Children, passersby, and the flow of city movement are not background. They constitute the grammar through which ritual persists as unmarked infrastructure.The inquiry refuses the binary of sacred and mundane. What is staged is not the spectacle of slaughter, but the condition under which violence becomes normalized as civic rhythm. Cairo is treated not as setting, but as operational model where religious form and urban habit produce each other.The project produces no ethnography. It produces a topology of the ordinary where exception and repetition occupy the same frame.
